New technologies have emerged for surgical treatment of BPH aiming for more safety and fewer complications compared to TURP. HOLEP allows enucleation of the prostate while avoiding significant morbidity associated with the traditional open approach. The workshop provides interactive hands-on training of different steps and techniques of HOLEP, with experienced urologists and local tutors guiding trainees through the training process.

The 40 Questions of Endourology
SWL vs RIRS vs PCNL: where is the boundary?
- Is SFR still the primary endpoint?
- Suction: paradigm shift or refinement?
- Tubeless PCNL: still relevant?
- Will any modality disappear?
Radiation-free Endourology: realistic?
- What is a safe IRP threshold?
- Should IRP monitoring be standard?
- Does thermal injury matter?
Telesurgery vs telemonitoring: strategy changer?
- What is telesurgery, how to implement, new opportunities?
- New robotic platforms: more options, better outcomes?
- What single port adds to our armamentarium?
- Had robotic surgery has a role in BPH surgical treatment?
UTUC: Where are the limits?
Focal therapy in prostate cancer: future standard?
- UTUC diagnosis: reliable enough?
- Laser ablation in UTUC: adequate?
- Imaging-guided radical prostatectomy: real clinical value or experimental promise?
- PSMA: earlier than PSA?
Does robotic surgery expand indications or refine outcomes?
- In complex ureteral strictures, when is substitution justified?
- Real-time decision support: ready for practice?
- Single-port robotic platforms: real advantage in reconstruction, or added complexity?
- Learning curve: barrier to wider adoption of robotic reconstruction?
Will innovation widen global inequalities in access?
- Will high-compute AI justify its energy cost?
- Can AI reliably guide intraoperative decision-making?
- Is the digital OR a transformation or an illusion?
- Will AI redefine competence in surgical training?
- Is sustainability compatible with high-tech urology?
- Why does the academic-real world gap persist?
- What is overrated in current practice?
Moderators revisit the most controversial answers and invite brief challenges, disagreements, and cross-panel discussion.

The course provides intensive hands-on training focused on endoscopic management of upper tract endoluminal diseases, including urolithiasis. Delegates are taken through a sequential program of ureterorenoscopy using standard endoscopic instruments and different models. Training includes light and camera settings, endoscope safety, flexible uretero-renoscope handling, anatomical orientation, guide-wires, baskets, access sheaths and intracorporeal lithotripters. Tips, tricks and problem management are delivered in a one-to-one training format.
